Mondays 5:30- 7:30pm Cafe Casablanca 2524 Bridge St $10 per rehearsal includes $2 min charge at the cafe		Victoria's only youth salsa performance group! We will introduce you to the essentials of salsa dancing starting with the basic steps and moving through to partner combinations. Learn to move your body to the rhythm of Latin music and practice leading and following techniques. Learn about the musicians and dancers that made salsa what it is today. When you are ready we will learn choreography to be performed at local festivals and special events. No dance experience or audition required! Must be 21 or younger.


LOCAL TEAM REHEARSALS WILL RESUME IN DECEMBER		Local performance group with rehearsals once a week. If you have never performed before or have a limited amount of time you are able to commit to, this is the team for you. Learn exciting choreographies to perform at local events with no pressure to perform until you feel ready. No dance experience or audition required!


Thursdays 5:00- 6:00pm Cafe Casablanca 2524 Bridge St Fees advised at audition		Auditioned performance group with rehearsals twice a week plus additional class and social requirements. For the first time ever, in 2008 this team will now come on tour with the Touring Team to Puerto Rico & New York. This is the team for you if you have never performed before but are a strong Salsa dancer or if you are new to Salsa, but have a strong dance or performance background. If you are interested in trying out for the team, consider joining the Performance Training Class held every September to prepare you for the auditions. By audition only. Auditions are held every fall. No partner is required.


Thursdays 5:00- 6:00pm Cafe Casablanca 2524 Bridge St Fees advised at audition		Auditioned performance group with rehearsals twice a week plus additional class and social requirements. This team takes only the 3 highest ranking girls and 3 highest ranking guys from our yearly audition plus 2 understudies. In the past, the group's dancers have performed locally as well as in Italy, Puerto Rico, New York, the Bahamas, Mexico, Los Angeles, Atlanta, and Toronto. In 2008, the team will be performing at the Gemini Salsa Competition in Portland, the Puerto Rico & New York Salsa Congresses and more!. By audition only. Auditions are held every fall. No partner is required.


Tuesdays 8:45- 9:45pm Club Phoenix 2122A Government St Wednesdays 5:30- 7:30pm Cafe Casablanca 2524 Bridge St		A special elite performance group by invitation only for special shows & tours. The group has already performed a routine with Jayson Molina at the Puerto Rico Salsa Congress and is now working on a 10 day tour of Italy this November! By invitation only.
