Austin has been dancing off and on since 2001. He was on the local team for 3 years and now currently on the training team. He has taken some ballroom and swing dance lessons as well. “I really love dancing, performing and meeting new people. I look forward to improving and taking my dance to the next level!”

Craig starting dancing salsa in 2004 and has been dancing off and on for the last 6 years. He originally learned the LA and Cuban salsa styles and is now learning the New York style. He became strongly motivated after seeing ˇSALSA CALIENTE! perform and aspires to eventually become proficient in all 5 styles of salsa and to join the Touring Team. "There simply isn't anything I love more than salsa, and ˇSALSA CALIENTE! continues to push me to achieve new heights. I don't think I've ever met a more fun and supportive group of dancers, and I am proud to be a part of them!"
Emilee started dancing in 2005 when she joined the UVic Ballroom Dance Club. After taking lessons and social dancing for a few years, she decided it was time to take a step into performing. This is her first year on a ˇSALSA CALIENTE! team, and she's looking forward to the experience. "I wanted to challenge myself; being on the Training Team is an amazingly fun way of improving my dancing skills, and a great way to stretch my performance abilities!"
A lifelong musician, but with absolutely no dance experience, Jesse joined the UVic Ballroom Dance Club in 2009 on a whim. He began learning Salsa In February of 2010 and found the lively music and friendly atmosphere infectious. Before long he was swept up in the excitement, and is thrilled to be on ˇSALSA CALIENTE!'s Training Team for the opportunity to improve and have a great time along the way!
Johannes started dancing in 2006 when he joined the University of Lethbridge Salsa Club. He joined the ˇSALSA CALIENTE! Training Team in November of 2009. " I immediately felt the warmth of the salsa community when I started dancing in Victoria. The tour group dancers are all incredibly supportive and helpful.”

Mai-Lin has been dancing Salsa for approximately 5 years. Her first experience with salsa was watching Ron Martinez perform with his group, Ay Que Rico, on stage at the Victoria Folkfest. Mai-Lin was moved by the Latin music and movement and has since been taking classes in salsa and other Latin dances. Mai-Lin is happy to be a member of the ˇSALSA CALIENTE! Training Team and strives to improve her dance skills.
Tara has been dancing for three years and only discovered Salsa within the past year. She instantly fell in love when her sister dragged her out to try it out. Tara has worked hard to improve and is excited for upcoming opportunities to dance and perform. Tara will also be performing with our Ladies Team.
