SALSA SOCIAL FOR HAITI

On Thursday, January 21 Salsa Caliente will be donating all profits from our social to benefit the earthquake victims in Haiti. Please come out and show your support. 100% of the $4 cover plus any donations you would like to make will be donated as you requested: 50% to the Canadian Red Cross and 50% to Doctors Without Borders.

There is a salsa community in Haiti and in our travels we have had the pleasure of meeting and dancing with some of their members. The dancers, their families and friends as well as the rest of their community are in our thoughts. Let's show them how much...

DANCE FOR YOUR LOVER WORKSHOP

Valentine's Day is fast approaching and that means it's time for another Dance For Your Lover workshop! Don't miss your chance to have some fun with the girls. Register now!

This workshop will teach you what you need to know to put together a sexy striptease for that special someone! Learn how to walk, crawl, slide down walls, lap dance, and more! We'll even show you how to strip without any embarrassing mistakes!

Cafe Casablanca will be closed to the public and NO guys will be allowed. All the windows will be covered and it will be just us girls having a good time. Don't worry...there is NO nudity in class. No dance experience required.

This workshop is for ladies 19 and older only. It sells out every year and you must pre-register to attend!!

SALSA CALIENTE AT LIVING COLOURS FESTIVAL

In February, the weather in Victoria may be rainy and grey, but Centennial Square will come alive in a brilliant burst of colour, energy and excitement at a family festival that celebrates the spirit of our city during Games-time!

livingcolours -A Spirit Spectacular features a series of exciting events, activities and performances in Victoria during the opening weekend of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic games. livingcolours is an family festival focused on the life-enhancing elements of activity, creativity, community and diversity, with colour, excitement and entertainment, it is a weekend full of fun that promises to be spectacular in every way.

On the Saturday, Salsa Caliente will have a booth at the event and will be putting on a 45 minute show. Mark your calendars and stop by to say hello! We'll let you know our exact show time once it is confirmed.

DANCE PRACTICE TIMES

SALSA CALIENTE ON 2 SOCIAL
Monday, February 01
10:00- 11:30pm (or later...)
Cafe Casablanca, 2524 Bridge St
$4 (free if you attended the 6:30pm class)+ 2 min charge at the cafe.
The first Monday of every month, Salsa Caliente will be hosting an additional social & practice time! This is the best time to work on what you have been learning in class. An instructor will be present for you to ask any questions you may have. This is an On 2 social especially for those that want to practice and improve dancing On 2. 100% On 2!!! No partner required!

SALSA CALIENTE WEEKLY SOCIAL
Every Thursday
10:00- 11:30pm (or later...)
Cafe Casablanca, 2524 Bridge St
$4 (free is you attended the 8 or 9pm class)+ 2 min charge at the cafe.
This is the best time to work on what you have been learning in class. An instructor will be present for you to ask any questions you may have. Dancers from the previous Intermediate and Beginner classes will be there so there is always lots of people from different levels to dance with. Salsa. Merengue & Bachata. No partner required!

SALSA NIGHTS AT CAFE CASABLANCA
Every Saturday (Christina will be teaching and DJing Jan 30, Feb 13 & 27)
8:30pm- 1:30am

$10 + $2 min charge at the cafe.
Join us every Saturday night for the best dance night in town! Music is 75% Salsa with some Bachata, Merengue and Cha Cha. There is a beginner Salsa lesson from 8:30- 9:30pm with a different instructor every week. The dancing starts at 9:30pm and lasts until 1:30am. This night is ALL AGES and all levels. No partner is ever required. The cafe serves food and has a liquor license.
