Salsa Caliente's internationally touring teams are well known for their fun and exciting live shows. This year they performed for a tenth consecutive year at the 2011 New York Salsa Congress, and for the eighth time at the Puerto Rico Salsa Congress where in the past they have also represented Canada in the World Salsa Open Championships and British Columbia on Salsa Team Canada. Salsa Caliente has performed at the Canada Salsa Congress in Toronto, at the Atlanta Salsa Congress and Chicago Salsa Congress. They have also perfomed on the Stuck On Salsa All Star Cruises to the Bahamas, Cayman Islands and Mexico and on a ten day tour of Italy with Luis Zegarra from New Jersey.

About the Teams
Touring Team
Auditioned performance group with rehearsals twice a week plus additional class and social requirements. In the past, the group's dancers have performed locally as well as in Italy, Puerto Rico, New York, the Bahamas, Mexico, Los Angeles, Atlanta, and Toronto. In 2011, the team will be performing at the Vancouver Salsa Festival, Portland Salsa Congress, Puerto Rico and New York Salsa Congresses and more! By audition only. No partner required.
Training Team
Auditioned performance group with rehearsals twice a week plus additional class and social requirements. This is the team for you if you have never performed before but are a strong Salsa dancer or if you are new to Salsa, but have a strong dance or performance background. If you are interested in trying out for the team, consider joining the Performance Training Class held every September to prepare you for the auditions. By audition only. No partner required.
Local Team
Local performance group with rehearsals once a week. If you have never performed before or have a limited amount of time you are able to commit to, this is the team for you. Learn exciting choreographies to perform at local events with no pressure to perform until you feel ready. No dance experience, partner or audition required!
